Oldies but Goodies...

2009 was full of ups and downs for us as most of you already know. I just wanted to post a few pics that I found while loading new photos on the computer today. They are from last year and did ever get posted until now!
Bring on 2010!

This was definitely a kodak moment...is that Bridger actually smiling??

Ellie playing in her first pile of leaves.

I couldn't leave out the midnight premier of New moon...here I am in my custom made TEAM EDWARD shirt!!

My bestie AMY from HS waiting in the cold! It was worth it but I'm sure Amy would disagree.

Iggy's before we went to get in line!

Leah, Ellie and Toby on Halloween.

Ellie and Bridger in their costumes. B was a Jedi if you couldn't tell.

Ellie's first slip n' slide experience!

Red Red Vines...

We gave Ellie her first piece of licorice...ok more like Jason did. She made a ridiculous mess of herself but I have pictures just like this of Bridger and his first piece so we had to take some of her too. Needless to say she needed a bath asap!

This is her "why so serious" face.
Chubby kids like candy.

Christmas Day

We had a great Christmas. Bridger and Ellie both had fun opening their gifts(Bridger mostly opening all of them). Ellie was more interested in eating the paper. We spent the majority of our day at home with just our family. It was definitely nice to not run around to 3 different parents house or get stuck in Beaver like we did last year. Instead we waited until the following week to head to Stg and see Jason's family. It was nice to get away but unfortunately not much warmer there.

Ellie loves her walker...she stood right up and pushed it around. It took her a couple times to get a hang of it but she's got it down. Now we just need to work on turning!

B helping Ellie open her gifts.

The obnoxious air hog toy B got.

Bridger was jumping up and down so excited when we got home from picking him up. He was ecstatic he got the exact bike he asked for. We have some great video of him freaking out but our video camera doesn't load the videos on the mac so you'll just have to take my word for it.

Ellie posing in her Christmas jammies...isn't she the cutest!

Go Jazz!

Most parents dress their kids in silly Christmas sweaters and cute little dresses for pictures with Santa...well that's not really our style so we decided that we'd go with supporting our Jazz and dressing the kids in their Jazz jersey's for the pics.

We finally had Ellie blessed on the 7th.  My Mom had the great idea of getting her blessed in my old blessing dress, luckily even though she was a lot older than I was when I got blessed, it still fit!  I have to tell Papa(Mike)thank you again for being the one to bless Ellie and to all the other men who stood up with Mike during the blessing.  We were so happy that we had pretty much all of both sides of the family there.  The fam keeps getting bigger and bigger!  I had some friends I had invited to come who also went out of there way to be there which made me very happy!  We want everyone know how much we appreciate your support and coming to things like this when you can!  We know its not always easy when you don't live close and have a lot of kids to bring.  Thank you again to everyone.  It was such a long awaited and wonderful day for us!

Cereal ewwww...

This was our first attempt at giving Ellie cereal.  She seemed like she was ready, acting hungry after she had a bottle and grabbing at our food.  So we gave it go...needless to say she was NOT down with the idea.  The pics below speak for themselves.  Enjoy!
