Mother's Day Weekend
Gma & Gpa Johnson came up for the weekend of Mother's day. We headed up to Keith & Corina's on Saturday to watch Justis' soccer game and celebrate Mother's Day. Bridger lucked out b/c Justis' team was short a player so he was able to play goalie. I definitely wish we lived closer to them b/c Bridger & Justis are good buddies. After the game we went back to their house and had some cake and icecream for Izza & Bryce's birthdays. Later that day Keith took us all down to the arena where he rides horses. Bridger was super excited b/c he really love riding horses. Another one of his uncles(Brad)rides horses too and he's always nagging me to go ride at Brad & Tahsha's house. I'm definitely not a big fan of horses but they are fun to ride every once in awhile. It was such a fun day for all of us!
On Sunday Jas & Bridger made me crepes...that was my only request for the day! I also got a very pretty necklace that is a tree with our family's birthstones on it. No pics of that day though.
A Peek of Summer
I think we all waited far too long for summer to finally arrive. We had a few warm days in April and we managed to get in some time at the park during one of them. I think we might have some lil' tennis players on our hands!
Baby Animal Days
The beginning of April we ventured up to Logan for Baby Animal Days. Jason's Dad Vic, and Step Mom Deana live near Logan and invited us up for the day since we had never visited before. We stopped on our way to grab Izza and then met Keith and Corina to follow them up to Logan. It was a little chilly but the kids had a lot of fun. The baby animals were so adorable and you were able to pet and/or hold most of them. Thanks for the fun day guys!
Better Late than Never...
Wow...I'm super behind on blogging! VI'll be trying to catch up to our 4th of July fun on my next few posts. Here are some pics from our Easter festivities. Coloring eggs and the kids finding their baskets. A lot less action than last year but it was nice to do our own family thing for at least one holiday!
